Graduation Requirements

In order to graduate from St. Brendan High School the following requirements must be satisfied:

• 2.0 or higher “unweighted” Grade Point Average.
• 100 or more service hours
• 27-28 credits consisting of the following
  • 4 credits in English
  • 4 credits in Math (including Algebra 1 and 2 years above Algebra 1)
  • 3 credits in Science (including Bioloy 1 and Chemistry 1)
  • 3 credits in Social Science (including Government, Economics, U.S. History and World History.)
  • 4 credits in Religion
  • 2 credits in Foreign Language (of the same language)
  • 1 credit in Personal Fitness
  • ½ credit in Health/Life Management
  • ½ credit in Art
  • ½ credit in Keyboarding
  • ½ credit in Computers
  • ½ credit in World Geography
  • 5 – 6 Elective courses – ½ or 1 credit classes
